The Vineyard 

is established on deep red soils developed over iron rich sediments and limestone. Our unique combination of climate and soils allows the development of pronounced fruit characters in the wines we produce.

The vineyard was established in 2001/2002, the Shiraz being planted in 2001 and the whites and Merlot in 2002. Our first commercial harvest was in 2005. Our wines are available from our cellar door or by mail order

The Winery

Our winery is capable of processing 25 tonne of grapes each vintage. The winery employs modern practices and laboratory testing to ensure that the wines produced are of consistently high standard.

Cellar Door

Visitors are welcome to come and taste the wines at the cellar door prior to purchase. The cellar door is open weekends from 10 am to 5 pm or at other times by prior arrangement.

Kingsdale Wines

is a boutique winery and vineyard, situated adjacent to Lake Sooley on the Southern Tablelands of NSW near the historic city of Goulburn. It is about a 2 hour drive south of Sydney and a 1 hour drive north of Canberra. The property is 700 m above sea level and enjoys a fresh mountain climate with mild summers and cool winters.
