We wish all our customers and friends a joy filled Christmas and the very best for the new year. Enjoy the food, the wine, your family and friends - but remember to drink in moderation and do not drink and drive.

With the exception of Christmas Day we will be open from 23 December through to 3 January.

Since our last letter, we have had rain, rain and more rain. On the 10th of December, 127mm in less than 12 hours. For a short while we had water views over Bumana Creek at the front as well as over Lake Sooley at the back! The vines are thriving. So far this year we have yet to turn on our irrigation system. The vines are now flowering and setting fruit

Just in time for Christmas we have made and bottled some more Orange Liqueur Wine - or Vin d'Orange. It is as delicious as the last time we made it, and will replace the Apricot liqueur wine which is all but SOLD OUT.

We have some snazzy jute wine carry bags.  $6, $5, $4 ea for three, two and single bottle packs. Great presentation for your wine gifts.

NEW RELEASES:

2008 Emma Shiraz: There are just a few boxes left of the 2006 Emma, so just in time for the New Year, we are releasing the new Emma vintage. Is the 2008 as good as the 2005 and 2006? The judges think it is even better with a Bronze Medal being awarded at the Australian Cool Climate Wine Show!

A luscious sticky, made to a special recipe using our white wine and Valencia oranges. Great with Pavlova, chocolate, fruit salad, crepes, ice cream and the Christmas pud.

Orange Liqueur Recipe Ideas:

1 Serve over the Christmas Pudding

2 Make thin crepes (or buy ready made from the supermarket) - serve with chocolate sauce, Orange Liqueur Wine and ice cream. YUM!

Normally $15 per bottle, for the holiday season $12 per 375ml bottle or $10 ea if part of a dozen order.

Pick it up at the cellar door, or as part of a mail order. (No charge for delivery to Sydney, Wollongong, Canberra and areas in between, $12 to other parts of NSW, $20 to Victoria South Australia and Brisbane, $40 to the rest of Australia).
